Hello DALT-ers!
This is the drum beat for the drum performance as promised. I think most people wouldn't need it except maybe for the sec 1. I hope this would help you all in memorizing the beats. It's not very easy to say it out in words so it may get very confusing when you are referring to the drum beats. I didn't write out how many times we are supposed to play that part as it may change so it is best if you know the rhythm first. I don't want to confused you all with the number of times you need to play that individual parts. Anyway, here it goes...
(w/o wushu people)
part 1: dong trak *pause* trak trak dong trak
part 2: [dong trak dong tak tak dong] X3 dong dong dong dong dong
part 3: dong trak dong tak tak dong tak dong trak dong tak dong dong
part 4: dong tak dong tak dong tak dong dong WEISHA
part 5: [1 1234 123] X3 dong dong dong dong dong
part 6: dong dong dong dong dong 123 123 12 12 tak
(With wushu people)
part 1: [dong dong dong dong] X3 dong dong dong dong dong dong dong dong tak dong dong
part 2: 1234 1234 1234 tak dong tak dong
part 3: dong dong [trak tak tak tak dong dong dong] X5
part 4: 123 123 123 dong dong ... ... (until the wushu people stop)

Beats that are underlined: play it with both hands
Beats that are bold: try to play it louder as compared with the other beats
Beats that are italic: play on the part on the drum which is in between the 鼓中间 and the 鼓边
dong is when you beat 鼓中间
tak is when you beat 鼓边
drong and trak is three beats of what you have to play.
the numbers are the same as the 'dongs'

I hope this would help although it looks rather confusing. Good luck in mastering the different parts. :D Bye Bye!
